SANTA ANA, Calif. — Councilmember Jessie Lopez has agendized an [item](https://santa-ana.primegov.com/portal/item?id=54065&ref=santanero.org) that will prohibit city officials from allowing their immediate family members to be involved or partake in a contract with the city.

This comes as disgraced Orange County Supervisor Andrew Do [plead guilty](https://orangecountyda.org/press/orange-county-supervisor-agrees-to-plead-guilty-to-bribery-conspiracy-involving-10-million-in-covid-relief-funds/?ref=santanero.org) to misusing COVID funds for personal gain involving his daughter as well, buying up houses instead of using funds to help seniors get their meals during the pandemic.
