SANTA ANA, Calif. — The Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce and the City community-link sector announced Tuesday that each will hold its own forum with candidates for mayor and city council.
The first of two forums will be hosted by the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce and is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, Sept. 25th at Santa Ana College. The event is free, but registration is required beforehand.
The second forum will be hosted by the City’s community-link sector and will be held on Thursday, Sept. 26th at 5:30 PM at the Santa Ana Police Departments’ Community Room.
The Santanero has confirmed attendance of the following candidates for both forums: Councilmember Thai Viet Phan (incumbent for Ward 1; running for reelection), Councilmember Benjamin Vazquez (incumbent for Ward 2; running for Mayor), Councilmember Johnathan Ryan Hernandez (incumbent for Ward 5; running for reelection), and Jeffery Katz (running for Ward 3).
Both forums will be free to attend. Registration is required for the forum hosted by the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce.
