1. Overview
Santanero Media Group, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) offers advertising opportunities across our digital publications, print editions, and media products. All advertising is subject to availability, review, and compliance with our Advertising Guidelines. Rates listed below apply per issue or placement unless otherwise stated. Priority may be given to businesses and organizations located within Santa Ana and surrounding communities.
2. Digital E-Edition Advertising Rates
(Effective May 1, 2025)
Digital advertisement placements are available in standard fractional page sizes. Rates are as follows:
1/16 page — $10 per placement
1/8 page — $25 per placement
1/4 page — $40 per placement
Half-page — $70 per placement
Full-page — $100 per placement
Discounted pricing may be available for recurring placements, bundled campaigns, or multi-issue commitments.
3. Print Edition Advertising Rates
(Effective May 1, 2025)
Print advertisements are available in both color and black-and-white formats at the same rate unless otherwise specified. Standard placement pricing is as follows:
1/16 page — $15 per placement
1/8 page — $35 per placement
1/4 page — $60 per placement
Half-page — $90 per placement
Full-page — $120 per placement
Bundle pricing or combined print and digital placements may be offered upon request.
4. Digital Product Sponsorships
(Effective May 1, 2026)
We offer sponsorship opportunities for recurring digital content, including newsletters and media series. Sponsorship placements may include business name mentions, logo placement, and direct links within the content where applicable.
Newsletter Sponsorship — $30 per issue
Recap Series Sponsorship — $30 per placement
Custom sponsorship arrangements may be available upon request.
5. Community Announcements & Events
We offer limited free promotion for qualifying community announcements and events, provided they comply with our Advertising Guidelines. Eligible submissions may include local meetings, community gatherings, giveaways, and similar events intended to serve the public.
Fundraising events, such as kermeses or similar activities, may be accepted at our discretion. Political or civic events may only be promoted if they are open to the public, free to attend, include free parking, and do not involve fundraising, campaigning, or advocacy.
We reserve the right to determine eligibility and placement of all community submissions.
6. Ad Specifications and Submission Requirements
Advertisers are responsible for submitting materials that meet our technical and formatting standards. Ad specifications, including dimensions, file types, and resolution requirements, will be provided upon request or at the time of booking.
All advertising materials must be submitted by the applicable deadline prior to publication. Late submissions may result in delayed placement or cancellation.
7. Payment Terms
Payment is required in full prior to publication unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to withhold publication of any advertisement until payment has been received and processed.
8. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations must be requested prior to the publication deadline. Once an advertisement has been published or distributed, it is considered final and non-refundable. We reserve the right to evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis in limited circumstances.
9. Placement and Availability
Advertisement placement is determined at our discretion unless specific placement has been agreed upon in advance. We do not guarantee placement location, positioning, or exclusivity unless explicitly stated in writing. All placements are subject to availability.
10. General Terms
All advertisements are subject to review and approval. We reserve the right to reject, modify, or remove any advertisement that does not comply with our Advertising Guidelines or standards. Advertisers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of their submissions, including compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Rates and offerings are subject to change at any time without notice.
11. Licensed Services Disclosure
Advertisements promoting services that require professional or state licensing under California law must include a valid and verifiable license number where applicable. Advertisers are responsible for ensuring compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements, including proper disclosure in advertising.
We reserve the right to request verification of any license and to reject or remove advertisements that fail to meet applicable legal standards. Failure to provide required licensing information may result in rejection or removal of the advertisement without refund.
12. Ethical Standards and Editorial Independence
Santanero Media Group, LLC maintains a strict separation between advertising and editorial operations. Acceptance of advertising does not influence editorial decisions, coverage, or content.
Advertisers may not attempt to influence, interfere with, or condition advertising on editorial treatment. Any attempt to circumvent these Guidelines or improperly influence business or editorial decisions may result in rejection, cancellation, or permanent restriction from advertising on our Services.
Nothing in these Guidelines limits our ability to report on matters of public interest in accordance with our editorial standards.
