The Santanero helps individuals and families share important life events with the Santa Ana community. Whether you're welcoming a newborn, celebrating a marriage, or remembering a loved one, our community notices recognize the moments that matter.
Community notices are paid placements and not the same as placing an event for our CommunityCal. Rates and available options are listed below.

Births & Marriages
Celebrate the arrival of a newborn or share the news of a wedding with family, friends, and the Santa Ana community.
Birth notices come in two sizes and one option includes a black and white photograph. Name text is 14 size font and all other text is 11-12, space permitting. See availability online at santanero.org/submit.
Birth announcements
Standard — $15
Includes basic birth information and up to 50 words, with an optional stork graphic.
Plus — $35 starting
Includes a photograph and up to 150 words. For $5 more, you can add a brief description of their sign.
Wedding announcements
Notices for weddings come in two size options. Name text is 14 size font and all other text is 12 (space permitting). See availability on our website at santanero.org/submit.
Standard — $25
Includes a photograph and up to 75 words announcing the couple's engagement.
Plus — $35
Includes everything in Standard with additional info up to 150 words.
Obituaries
Honor the memory of a loved one by sharing their story with the Santa Ana community.
Obituaries may include the individual's name, dates of birth and death, a photograph, and a tribute reflecting their life, family, accomplishments, and legacy.
Obituaries come in two sizes and both include a black and white photograph. Name text is 14 size font and all other text is 12, space permitting. QR codes are optional. See availability online: santanero.org/submit.

Includes a black-and-white photograph and up to 150 words.
Plus — $35
Includes everything in Standard and expands your tribute to 350 words.

Plus — $35
Includes everything in Standard and expands your notice to 150 words.
Anniversaries and engagements
Notices for anniversaries and engagements are available in one size option. Name text is 14 size font and all other text is 12 (space permitting). See availability on our website at santanero.org/submit.
Standard — $20
Celebrate an anniversary, announce an engagement, or recognize another special occasion. Includes a photograph and up to 75 words.
Publication and payment
All community notices are subject to review, verification, formatting requirements, and publication availability.
Payment is required before publication unless otherwise agreed upon. Publication dates and placement are subject to confirmation.
Submission does not guarantee publication. We may request additional information, photographs, or revisions before accepting a notice.
Word limits apply to the announcement's body text, excluding names, dates, and standard headings.
