When is the next election in Santa Ana?
The next election will be the 2026 General Election on Nov. 3, 2026.
When do I vote for Mayor or the President?
Under the City of Santa Ana Charter, voters will check a box for mayor every two years. Voters however will only vote for President every four years. In 2026, Santaneros will vote for three city councilmembers and one mayor, alongside other local races from school board to Congressional representatives.

How can I vote?
If you’re 16, you can pre-register to vote once you’re 18 during an election. If you’re 18 or older already and would like to register, click here.
In Orange County, you can vote by mail, ballot dropoff at a polling place or dropbox, or in-person. Guides and information is mailed to the address put your voter registration.
