Hot Takes 🔥

Hot Takes are short, reader-submitted opinions about issues affecting Santa Ana, meant to spark discussion and encourage different perspectives.

Each Hot Take gives one person the opportunity to share their viewpoint while inviting others to agree, disagree, or offer their own perspectives in the comments.

How it works

Submit a short opinion about something you think Santa Ana should be talking about. If selected, your Hot Take will be published on The Santanero's website and may be shared on our social media platforms.

Readers can join the conversation by signing in and leaving a comment. All comments are moderated.

Submit a Hot Take

Keep your submission brief, clear, and respectful, preferably within 75 words. Include your name, a valid email address, and any relevant affiliations or interests. Links to supporting evidence are encouraged.

All submissions are subject to editorial review and must follow our Community Contributions Policy. Publication is not guaranteed, and contributors are not paid.
