Returning your mail-in ballot

Already filled out your ballot? You can return it at any Vote Center or official ballot drop box by 8 p.m. tonight.

Official ballot drop boxes are available throughout Santa Ana, including locations at Albert D. Salgado Community Center, Centennial Education Center, Memorial Park, Orange County Registrar of Voters, and Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center.

Some locations offer drive-up or drive-through access, while others require voters to walk up.

You may also mail your completed ballot today. It must be postmarked by November 3 and received by November 10 to be eligible for counting. Make sure to sign your ballot return envelope.

Not registered? You can still vote!

California allows same-day voter registration through Election Day.

Eligible residents who missed the October 19 registration deadline can visit a Vote Center to register and cast a ballot. Election officials will verify their registration before counting their vote.

First time voting?

Most California voters do not need to show identification. However, some first-time voters may be asked to provide identification if their information was not previously verified.

Voters can also request a replacement ballot, receive language assistance, or use accessible voting equipment at a Vote Center.
